About Time Cards
A time card records daily punch-in/punch-out times to calculate total work hours. Enter your start and end time for each day, subtract breaks, and the calculator totals your weekly hours and computes pay including any overtime.
In India, the Factories Act sets 8 hours as the standard working day. Any work beyond 9 hours per day or 48 hours per week qualifies as overtime and must be paid at double the ordinary rate of wages (Section 59 of the Factories Act, 1948). Use the OT threshold and multiplier fields to match your employment terms.
